One of the major plusses of sailing the group 3 vessels is the experience you get in sailing Fast Rescue Boats (FRB).
Every ESVAGT vessel now has the Sertica system implemented for purchasing and maintenance. It ensures quality, reduces the risk of breakdowns and can eliminate error related costs.
Ole Ditlev Nielsen turns 60 on the 11th May 2017. He joined ESVAGT almost 25 years ago as the company’s first safety and quality coordinator. He will now work with the future development of the company.
“Whether the job is rescuing people in high seas or sailing wind technicians safely around an offshore wind farm, the skills of those on board the vessels are critical for ESVAGT's success. Since autumn 2015, a total of 30 officers from the fleet have completed ’ESVAGT Leadership Education’; the first tailor made leadership training course in the history of the shipping company.

The STBs have been particularly busy in their first year. Crew and charter have offered constructive suggestions for improvement for the next generation.

Revenue for the ESVAGT Group in 2015 was DKK 1,002.8m against DKK 946.5m in 2014. EBITDA for the year is DKK 435m compared to DKK 417m in 2014.

The identity and values behind the shipping company are united in the ’ESVAGT Standard’. The latest rescue operation in the North Sea shows that this standard lives and thrives.
Employees have used their own words to describe ESVAGT’s DNA. This has become the ESVAGT Standard, which is what makes ESVAGT unique.
On 27 October 2014, ESVAGT achieved a milestone in the shipping company’s history, with 600 days without lost time incidents.
