ESVAGT UK appoints Ian Taylor as UK Regional Director

Press release   •   Sep 21, 2018 08:00 CEST

Ian Taylor has known ESVAGT for the past decade and has experienced ESVAGT from a customer's perspective

Ian Taylor (46) brings many years of shipping experience and a considerable amount of ESVAGT knowledge to ESVAGT’s UK office at Dock Gate House in the heart of Aberdeen’s harbour area.

As a Chartered Shipbroker, Ian Taylor has been handling contracts with ESVAGT for North Sea Charterers for the past decade, experiencing ESVAGT’s competencies from a client’s point of view:

“As a supplier, ESVAGT has always stood out: A very professional attitude, in-demand specifications for the vessels and rescue boats, and outstanding and highly skilled crews”.

“Add to that a very innovative approach and a great understanding of the customer's needs, ESVAGT would often be my client’s first choice”, he adds.

Having ‘sold’ ESVAGT to clients for years, getting onboard full time was an easy step:

“It is a company I have known well for several years. ESVAGT has a significant presence in the UK market and is known as a high-quality partner and supplier. It is a quality brand”, Ian Taylor says.

Søren Karas, CCO at ESVAGT, welcomes the appointment:

“We are delighted to have Ian onboard. With Ian, we will have an industry veteran at the helm of ESVAGT UK, as we continue our efforts to deepen our customer engagement and understanding to make sure we offer the best possible solutions and grow the ESVAGT presence in the UK”, expresses Søren Karas.
